And I owe the house of Yamaha an apology. I cracked open my old receiver, evacuated about a cubic foot of dust bunnies all over my workshop with compressed air, and now it works like a charm. Before:

Dang. I was looking forward to upgrading and harvesting all of those sweet, sweet thru-hole electrical components. The electric go-kart project needs parts, dammit!
